Australia's Coast from the Air
A movie presentation of over 260 photos (with captions)
highlighting aerial views of Australia's stunning and varied
coast as photographed by pilot Fran West during her
circumnavigation of Australia and other flights. These
aren't the usual tourist photos, although there are some
familiar places. The images capture more of the essence
of Australia from beautiful sandy beaches and rugged
shorelines to remote stretches of untamed coast and
hidden treasures.
Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, the Northern
Territory, Western Australia, South Australia and
Tasmania are all represented with at least 26 or more
images and the photos follow Fran's anticlockwise path
around the Australian mainland and Tasmania.
There's also an added bonus of images of inland detours,
ground shots and airstrips on which Fran landed.
This is recommended viewing for geography students, pilots
interested in flying Australia's coast (an Outback safari Down Under)
and those who just want to experience Australia's spectacular scenery from above.
Duration: approximately 26 minutes (with an easy listening soundtrack).
AUD $25.00
plus postage and packaging ($2.50 within Australia, $6.00 for rest of world).

Leisure and Lifestyle DVDs |
|
Fran West is now producing a series of DVDs designed specifically at the request of, and for use by,
diversional therapists (also recreation/occupational therapists and leisure/lifestyle/activities coordinators)
to connect people with past lifestyles, bring back memories and provide hours of enjoyment.
Suitable for playing on a laptop, personal computer, large screen, TV or DVD player,
viewing can be for one or more people at a time.
All the DVDs have over 260 images (without captions), an easy listening soundtrack, last
approximately 26 minutes and are $25.00 each (P&P $2.50 within Australia, $6.00 overseas).
Originally produced for dementia patients, the DVDs are also enjoyed by aged care residents and
staff, used in activities, and are found to be very beneficial for high care, palliative care and
Sundowner’s Syndrome patients. Additionally, the benefits have flowed over into other areas as well
reducing stress, calming, modifying behaviour, providing a new focus and managing pain. Some of the
DVDs are also used in day care centres, kindergartens and primary schools to educate and entertain
children.
